Deadly Night Shade Vegetables
Vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant (aubergine), spinach, zuchini (courgettes) and peppers belong to an ancient family of plants known as the ‘deadly night shade family’.
This ancient family of plants supported life on the planet in a time when the planet was much warmer, they are now no longer a supportive food for modern people.
These vegetables are more acidic and because of this they make our blood acidic which makes us more susceptible to illness and fatigue.
If you are relatively healthy you don’t have to eliminate these vegetables completely, but don’t fall into the common misconception that these vegetables are ‘really healthy’, they are not! So enjoy them occasionally but make other vegetables your regular fare.
