My favourite place to do all my shopping in Amsterdam is at the saturday morning organic farmers market!
That is at the Norde Kerk (north church) on the corner of the Prinsengracht and the Westerstraat in the Jordaan.
This market takes place every saturday from 9am till about 3-4pm.
They have everything from fresh baked sourdough bread, veggie sushi rolls, hot crepes, nutural cosmetics, homemade jams, gourmet olives plus 4 or 5 vendors that sell plentiful variety of farm fresh and seasonal produce.
Meanwhile a couple streets away on the Lindengracht is the commercial non-organic market - I sometimes get fresh flowers here and they have a great fresh fish stall! Delish...
